Pickaway MHA will comply with all Section 3 requirements.
Assists the Program Manager with the administration of Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program; communicates with clients and landlords in order to obtain and provide information related to HCV; meets with and interviews prospective clients in order to obtain information needed to determine whether the prospective client qualifies for assistance under the HCV or other agency Programs; meets with and interviews existing clients in order to recertify their eligibility; conducts briefings for new HCV program clients; performs a variety of clerical tasks in order to assist with the efficient operation of the program Qualified Applicants should have a minimum combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.
An example of an acceptable qualification for this position would be completion of secondary education (high school or GED), supplemented by coursework in office practices and procedures and computer operations, plus one (1) or more years' experience in human services, social services field; or any combination of education, experience, and training, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
