Leveraged Improvement Engineer

Job Description DuPont's Interconnect Solutions Business (ICS) is a global manufacturer of a broad array of high performancefilms and laminate materials used in the electronic industry.  Our products are used extensively in aircraft, automotive, high speed trains, personal electronics, and military equipment.  Manufacturingfacilities consist ofpolymer manufacturing,film casting, hightemperature lamination and numerous converting operations such as coating, heat treatment, and extensive slitting operations.   ICS is looking for a Leveraged Improvement Engineer to provide technical expertise for the various manufacturingprocesses noted above and lead continuous improvement projects that deliver significant improvements to the business.  Responsibilities: Lead the resolution of multiple difficult projects with high level of autonomy and accountability.  Projects will focus on problems impacting product quality, yields, cost, or capacity of the manufacturing operations. Develop technical expertise in common manufacturing processes and leverage across the sites. Make recommendations to Area and Technical managers to improve organizational capability and production performance. Mentor junior engineers to develop their technical capabilities and contributions. Assist with the recruiting and hiring of new engineers into the organization. Skills required: Demonstrated expertise of mechanical and chemicalprocesses and methodologies applicable to a manufacturing operation. Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Demonstrated strong teamwork and networking skills. Leadership capability and the ability to coach, influence and negotiate. Ability to handle multiple tasks and a high volume workload with shifting and competing priorities. Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral).  Flexible/motivated self-starter. The position is located at Circleville, OH.  Projects will be focused at the four ICS manufacturing locations:  Circleville, OH, Pasadena, TX (Bayport), Towanda, PA and Hsinchu, Taiwan.  Job Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree requiredChemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of operations or manufacturing technical experiencerequired. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required; Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred. Additional Information: This position may require the employee to travel 25% of the time depending on project location.  Off hour interface and support of global project teams may be required. 199680W-01

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
